For the second time in 10 days, someone robbed the TCF Bank at 1 W. Devon Ave. in Park Ridge.
At 10:48 a.m.
Mar. 15, a man described as a white male in his 30s or 40s approached the tellers, handed them a bag, and told them to put the money in the bag, according to Police Cmdr. Lou Jogmen.

PARK RIDGE, Ill. Authorities are investigating a possible link between a Park Ridge bank robbery Monday morning and one earlier this month at the same location.
Monday's robbery happened at 10:48 a.m. at a TCF Bank branch at 1 W. Devon Ave, according to a Park Ridge police release.
The man, between 30 and 40, approached the bank teller and demanded money.
At this point, there are definitely some similarities, but we aren't ready to link the two robberies -Lou Jogmen

A Park Ridge father and five teenagers were arrested March 13 after police and paramedics responded to a home where underage drinking was allegedly taking place.
Joao Lima, 53, of the 2400 block of De Cook Court North, Park Ridge, was charged with use of a premises for consumption of alcohol by minors.
Park Ridge Police Cmdr. Lou Jogmen said paramedics were called just before 9 p.m. to Lima's home for a report of an unconscious 16-year-old girl.

The Park Ridge Police Dept. plans a roadside safety check and hopes to have an automatic license check unit on Saturday Mar. 20 near Maine East High School.
"We're trying to keep the streets a little safer," said Cmdr. Lou Jogmen.
He explained officers would be primarily looking for equipment problems on the cars passing through the checkpoint.

Park Ridge's new red-light enforcement camera is recording a lot of red-light violations -- nearly all of them for improper right turns.
According to Police Department statistics shared Monday night with the Park Ridge City Council, a total of 268 violations were recorded between Jan. 25 and March 3 by the camera at Oakton Street and Northwest Highway.
Of that total, 260 involved vehicles that failed to come to a complete stop before making a right turn from westbound Oakton onto Northwest Highway, said
